Does anyone know of a message board where we can get legal questions answered?

My mom has some legal questions concerning property and we don't want to pay out the yin-yang for a lawyer. We don't even KNOW a lawyer around here--would have no idea who to go to.

Since laws vary by state, finding the answers to her questions online has been frustrating! Get the Excedrin out!

So I was wondering if anyone knew of a message board/forum, like MC, where people post and discuss legal stuff. I just wasn't finding anything good out there! If anyone has a link, we'd appreciate it!

We live in FL, btw, so maybe if anyone has a good link to a great legal site that deals with FL laws, maybe that might point us in the right direction.

I don't know but I know in my state, Ohio, you can call a lawyer and have an inital consulation without being charged.

Can you try starting with a title company in posing your question?

If it is an important property issue, it could be a bargain to spend a little now and get the right information rather than spend a lot later.

Yes, please elaborate. I frequent those boards as well and know they do provide accurate LEGAL advice, although the delivery is not always tactful or what people want to hear. Anyone can sue anyone for any reason......doesn't mean they will win.
