Something everyone should watch. Especially your kids that drive and have cell phones. It's very graphic but I think it definitely delivers it's message.

Alright, texting while driving? Obviously stupid -- but that doesn't stop tons and tons of people from doing it. The Gwent Police department in Wales hopes that its newest PSA film will help deter this bad behavior. In much the same spirit as the drunk driving on prom night films we ourselves had to sit thorough in high school, this film is pretty graphic. Okay, it's actually shockingly graphic -- but we're pretty sure that's the idea.

I wish they didn't block youtube at school. This would be a great video to show to high school kids. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks for this...I sent to some of my friends with teens and some of the teens I know from school in orchestra...I hope that seeing something this upsetting will make an impact on them... ~Lisa

I haven't watched it yet (young kids around) but CO made it illegal for anyone to text and illegal for anyone under 18 to use a cell phone in a car. This came about after an 8 or 9 year old girl got killed after being hit on her bike by a cell phone user

Cannot say enough on this subject, while me personally like I said truly only use my cell phone for certain people, my children, my parents, my husband, my father in law, texting to me , well personally speaking I honestly do not know how, how lazy have we become, we cannot even talk , now we must text and then drive and text, a true diaster waiting to happen. Wow, that was powerful! Although cell phones/texting is illegal while driving here, we see it all the time. I will be showing this to both my teens. Thanks, Toonces, for posting this.

Just because there is a law, doesn't mean people will follow it. We've had seatbelt laws here for years, and there are plenty of people that don't follow that one either

toonces your so right while wearing a seatlbelt is the law still so many people refuse to wear them, because they say they feel restricted. Again I will shake my head how irresponsible can a person be. Personally I have worn a seatbelt so long now I always always wear one and always insist on who ever gets into my car they wear one as well, you can never ever be too safe... Again thanks so much for the link and I totally agree this video should be shown to more people especially teenagers over and over again, perhaps just perhaps it will save some lives... Peace. Toones, Thank you for posting the video. Although it was very difficult to watch, I think it should be a must see for new as well as experienced drivers to show them the dangers of texting while driving. This should be a required viewing in middle school and high school health classes.
