I hate hot, humid weather. I always have and I always will. Luckily we've had a pretty cool summer for which I am grateful, especially since my son got married two weeks ago. It was an outdoor wedding and it could have been miserable-storms, misquitos, hot and/or humid bit it was sunny with a slight breeze and high 70's-PERFECT!!! Can't wait for the crisp fall weather to come!

I'm pretty good with the day in, day out heat down here. About this time every year I do start to long for a day where the temperature won't hit 90 though. It's strange that the hot weather bothers me less in Florida than it did when I lived in MA. Maybe because it gets hot and stays hot. Up in New England you had to get use to the occasional heat waves over and over. That being said, I will be glad to see October come.

I wouldn't mind the hot weather if it wasn't so humid all of the time. Down here in the deep south, you cannot do w/o A/C! Count me in-- I live in the Sunshine State of Florida and I am sick of this hot weather and ready for that first blast of cool air to come down from the north! You snowbirds need to start packing up, winding down those vacations, get outta my state, head back home and hurry up and send some of that cold weather THIS way! LOL J/K, please, no offense meant to my northern neighbors. ;-) |

Count me in, I HATE, hot and humit weather. It didnt bother me till I came VERY close to a heat stroke about 10 years ago, now it bothers me more every year. I have talked to other people that have either had a heat stroke, or come close and they say the same thing. Misery does not love company! It doesn't help that I live on top of a hill, that I call Bald Knob, that is cover with sand stone, so I have a heck of a time trying to get trees to grow.
