Dating in the Dark??

What do you guys think of this television show where you meet a potential mate in the dark? I think it is interesting, but I don't really see it being realistic! Perhaps that is because I saw my husband across the room and immediately knew I wanted to date him. It was a connection I have never had with anyone else. I just think being able to see a person plays a big part of attraction.

I've watch it a couple of times. In theory, I think it's great because you really should like someone because of who they are inside, not what they look like. Looks fade but who you are inside is what stays with you. I don't really like to watch the show much because people seemingly like each other A LOT and gush about them but once they see them, they are like "oh, they aren't my type". Uh, your *type* isn't working for you or you wouldn't be here dim wit!. These aren't ugly people either. Or the men will be "oh, she's *thick*. Don't you mean "normal"? Last night the guys got to go through the gals luggage and one girl is a size 4 and they guy says something like "oh, she's curvy". Gee, I wonder what he would say about me...

This show just really shows that people really are more concerned with looks than what's inside and I think that's sad. I know it's nice to like what you are looking at on the outside but at least for me, it wasn't a top priority

i didn't like the thick comment either. also didn't know why size 4 would be called curvy. imo the thick girl was curvy...some of these guys were stuck on themselves. they will all remain single if they keep the same standards about women.

The women are the same way. One of them would not date the guy because he was too short.

I like to watch the part at the end when they get to see each other. I like to see their reaction in the dark. That was dumb when one girl thought the guy looked 40. He didn't look that old!
I don't like the part where one of them goes on the balcony to wait for the other person to show up. It's mean when they watch the other person walking out the front door. They just can't get beyond their looks. Usually only one couple ends up on the balcony.

watched it once, looked like some horror movie while they was in the dark so my mind was waiting for someone to jump out and chop them up. So that was the end of that. course I dont watch any reality shows most or pretty dumb and you never know how much is doctored up or just a put on for ratings
