Swiffer Wet Jet worth it?

I can no longer find refills for my clorox clean-up mop and I was never really thrilled with it except for quick not-so thorough cleanings. I'm thinking of getting a swiffer wet jet but I see it's $18 on sale!!!! Is it worth it? Would love to hear what my frugal friends think!

I just use wet Swiffer cloths on my flat Swiffer Sweeper. What I'd like to know is if the Swiffer Vacuum thingy is worth it.

I love my swiffer with the vacuum. I actually have two, one for upstairs and one for downstairs! I could not live without it! I love the Swiffer wetjet too!

I have a cordless vacuum (rechargeable one) and use a steam mop (I don't like to use extra chemicals if I have to. I use the Steam Shark and it works great

Had one but replaced it with a Shark steam mop, like it much better, especially for hardwood floors. I like needing only one mop for all floors and no cleaning solution.

Thanks I think I'll get one so I don't have to bend over and get the stuff it leaves by hand. Does it plug in or take batteries?

Can you use the steam shark for the laminate flooring. I'm in the process of changing several rooms over to the wood plank- look laminate and am not sure how to clean them.

It plugs in, and it after the intial charge it doesn't take long for it to recharge. My older one (bought when they first came out, doesn't quite hold it's charge as long as it used too, but it's still enough for me to get everything done)

Another vote for the Steam Shark. I have hardwood, tile, and peel-and-stick vinyl and I use it on all those surfaces with good results.

I thought about a Steam Shark, but just decided to get the Swiffer Wet Jet (for now).

I am happy with how it works, and mine does not leak (my Grandmother's does though).

We have laminate floors, and it is just about rainy season here. That means that every time the dogs come into the house after an outside potty break, muddy pawprints all over.

It is simple to use, but trying to get to the scrubber is a bit tough, because the top of the mop head does not like to flop down - you gotta try a few times before you can get to the scrubber on the floor.

I am happy with the purchase overall!

I have been considering the steam shark. After reading all the good reviews, I think I might get one. I had the swifer jet and did not like it. I thought it was expensive to keep buying the pads and cleaning solution.
