Last thing you ate you thought tasted awful...

The last thing I ate which tasted awful was last night's side dish at dinner. I made some Green Giant sliced carrots in some sort of sweet sauce..brown sugar maybe. It was in one of those plastic bags you slit a hole in and microwave..well..it was awful ! The carrots were too tough..texture of bubble gum almost..the sauce was a brownish color that made it look terrible..ugh ugh ugh..no wonder it was on sale though. Took way too long to cook , also .I'll never buy those again.

Before that cuisine disaster , I had bought a Hormel Compleats microwave dish for my lunch last week ..UGH..this one was supposed to be sesame ginger chicken...looked like dog food, the noodles were waterlogged and tasteless, there was an ear of mini corn ( Chinese ?) and scared me to look at it, looked like a dead centipede..gag..never again !

I accidentally got a chunk of fat in my mouth off a piece of beef tenderloin that I was eating. I hate fat! Yuck - it explodes and expands in your mouth! EEEwwww!

I have so many food issues that I really don't taste things unless I know what's in them. I did try some veggie meat products that were so gross I wondered how people could eat them. Horrendous! It was Morningstar Farms I think Italian dinner "sausages".

The chicken dinner dh made. It tasted like chicken covered in stove top stuffing. Yuck. He loved it though. I also thought the Hormel compleats looked like dog food. You should email both places and complain. Hormel sent me some $2 off any hormel product coupons.

Hey...I like those! Hehe. The last horrible thing I tried was some homemade macaroni and cheese at a wedding reception. I am usually extremely fussy about my food and don't eat anything that I don't know who brought it. Well, I would've had nothing on my plate, so I tried a couple of things. It tasted rotten...literally like it was rotten. A few days later, I was talking with my son and asked him if he knew who brought it, and he said "you don't even want to know"....eeewwww.....

OMG! You poor thing..I once went to a JROTC banquet...someone had made rice pilaf..it tasted BURNT! Like someone had burnt the rice in a pan but decided to scrape off the black parts and serve anyway..that was about 6 years ago and I still remember it ! ugh

I just brought the Hormel Compleats because they were on sale for 2.50 and I had a coupon which made them $1 each, now after hearing the reviews I am afraid to try them LOL The last awful tasting thing that I ate would be the london broil that my boyfriend made, I don't know what the man was thinking but he baked it and overcooked it, there was no amount of bbq sauce or ketchup that would have helped He however thought it was good (maybe cause I like my meat med and he likes his beyond well done)

I made a mocha chocolate cake that I had received as a gift from a friend. Ewww... It tasted like German Chocolate Cake - the only thing yummy was the homemade chocolate frosting!

Some packet of salmon with a sweet sauce. Can't remember if it was an orange or teriyaki flavor. I'm not sure if it was disgusting because I was pregnant or what but I can't make myself try it again!

Store brand frozen onion rings. SOOOO GROSS! I baked them until they were nice and crispy looking, but I should have stopped at looking. They were NASTY! Tasted like rancid cooking oil and metal.
I ate one and threw the rest that I cooked away. The rest of the bag is still in the freezer. I should send an email to the company and complain. Disappointing , because all of the other store brand products I've bought from this store were pretty good.
