While 9/11 is important, so are other specific holidays and dates. I just said to dh tonight, let me be the 1st to tell you that tomorrow is 9/11, as in you will hear it all day.

I am glad you also post the colors at other times, our military is - to me - #1. Our soldiers come home in body bags to shattered families and it's only worthy typically of a couple of paragraphs in the local section, maybe 30 seconds on the news.

We fly our flag at all times. It only comes down in bad weather, It has lights on it at night.

People flying their only at certain times, bothers me. I feel we should be proud to be American everyday we are here. Another Pet Peeve of mine is when I see flags that are flown that are in horrible shape.

I have 3 flags one big one and 3 smaller ones the bigger one I moved to the front of the house for today for 9/11 and then I will move it back with the other 2 smaller ones that have been out since the war and will remain sadly till our troops all return home soon I hope and pray...
