I don't do a lot of exercise. I walk mostly. So lately, out of the blue,when I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary, my left calf muscle feels like something is torn/tearing and I can hardly walk. I have to put on sandals with a heel to walk because weight the heel, it's too painful. I haven't ever had anything like this before (and I used to be a gymnast in my youth). The pain goes away in a couple of days but then I was walking on the treadmill today and Bam...it happened again.

Could I have something torn in there? If so, what do I do? I don't want to do to the doctor (they can never figure out what's going on with me) if I can help it.

Calf Strain (Rupture of the gastrocnemius or soleus muscle)
Meniscus Tear-Symptoms
Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Injuries-Symptoms

a bit better. I can walk on it but only with my dansko clogs. They have a bit of a heel. Barefoot...no way...too painful. I'm going to stay off of walking on the treadmill and any exercise and see how it goes.
