This is a long shot but does anyone here have any experience with portable pulse ox readers?

Long story short, we're in the market for an oximeter for the asthma kiddo in our house. We like the Nonin 9500 or next level up Nonin 9550 after what we read on the net but does someone else have tried and true experience they'd share?

Is there a better brand? -
