Philies foul ball.

I just saw this clip on O'Reillys show. A young man caught a foul ball from the front row of one of the upper decks. He raised his hands in the air, smiled, looked really happy and then leaned down and gave the ball to his toddler. The toddler then turned around and threw it over the railing! The dad looked sad for a moment then started laughing and hugged his child. O'Reilly dubbed him a Patriot!

I was glad to see the dad NOT become angry - after all, it's just a ball and the little girl was doing what she has probably seen hundreds of times before - throwing the ball. So cute!

I saw it too I hope whoever caught the ball after the little girl threw it, was nice enough to give it back to her because she probably thought she was playing catch.

I love this video. What a great story and the dad's reaction just absolutely makes it.

It was very cute. The dad was a sweetheart. But what makes him a Patriot? Did I miss something?

At the end of O'R's show, he has a segment called "Pinheads and Patriots". The 'patriot' is usually just someone who has obviously done something positive... a good person... the kind of thing that, if done by everyone, would make this a little better place to be.
