If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition, and then admit that we just don't want to do it.

I don't think the child was actually "talking". Just finding his voice and doing what he's seen the grown ups do. I thought it was very funny.

Surely you've seen an impassioned politician 'work it' like that.

Interestingly, despite the fact that he's as pasty white a child as you'll ever find, he reminded me of a black preacher. You don't usually see people nearly as animated or enthusiastic in white churches.

Have you ever attended a Southern Baptist church wowitsdark?? They can be very animated and enthusiastic..lol

I wish I could imitate my personal favorite sermon from a white animated preacher. It generally gets a pretty good laugh! LOL
