Check your local library to see if they have them to borrow there. We've really liked doing that because it's a good way to test a game and see if you like it. We LOVE Rockband. We have Wii Fit too, and my kids like that one. Outdoor adventure is pretty fun and it gets the kids moving. Good luck! |

Does she like music? We have Wii Music and it is really neat. You can play the role of conductor of an orchestra, among many other things. My son bought it last year and I think it cost $50 (those games are way too much money). The price may have come down some.

The advice I always give is to get a Blockbuster Game Pass. It's about $18 a month, and you can have one game out at a time and switch anytime. That way you can try out any games you're interested in. It helped us to rule out several games that we thought were "must buys", but once we played them we decided we really didn't like. We still try to rent a game to try it out before we buy it. When you're spending $40+ per game it makes a difference to know if you'll really enjoy it. Renee |

Another vote for renting games before buying them. Maybe give each kid a gift card for enough $ to rent 3-4 games so they can each pick out a few to try. If you have a Family Video near you, check them out. They rent video games at reasonable prices. So does Hollywood Video, but I prefer Family Video because they also have a HUGE selection of dvd's to rent for $1 or less. I would get Wii Play to go along with the system and it along with the games that come with the Wii itself will probably get you through Christmas day and the day after. If you want to give games right away I suggest Carnival Games. Funny and not too difficult.

mysim are kinda fun but might rent it first cause I can finish it within the day. Zelda I was bored with, Mario galaxy is ok. Elebits?? my oldest enjoys cause you kinda trash the place looking for the little energy things. Guitar hero is one that my oldest actually enjoys to sit down and play with me on instad of playing solo.
