Dove has had this platform for a while, and I think were also presenting programs at the schools. I think it's great for a company to level about this and hopefully girls will realize they don't have to be spaghetti skinny and show most of their skin and 3 bra straps while they are at it........self esteem needs to be restored !

To op thanks so much for posting this link, this is so important for all the young girls out there, because sadly so many young girls, look at the magazines and try to be like those girls. Then we have to wonder as a nation why so many girls fall prey to being too skinny and worrying to much about make-up and fancy expensive clothes. Peace. Catherine

Wow, neat little video. Amazing what just the makeup did, but to go ahead and photoshop seemed unnecessary didn't it?

Reminds me of something on a website from a speaker my girls and I saw this weekend at a Middle School retreat with their church group. The speaker's name is Heather Flies and she is a youth pastor from MN. I was looking around her website and found a link of a presentation on stars without makeup.

If you go to Heather Flies, click on downloads and then click on Stars Without Makeup it is a Powerpoint presentation with 8 slides of stars with and without makeup. It's pretty amazing the difference.

I think also that Dove and Walmart teamed up, at least for one commercial 'cuz I saw it the other night and then tonight again. Great message for them to send!
