so excited!

When DH agreed to move out, I knew that money would probably become an issue.
I began looking for part-time jobs. I found one w/ a local developmental counsel that I really wanted. It was weekends and some evenings at the local youth shelters. I have experience working w/ troubled youths, I have experience of having been in an abusive relationship, I have experience of dealing w/ mental illness, and well--I've been a mom for nearly 12 years now. But mostly, I was extremely fortunate to have had lots of loving adults in my life when I was a teen--and wish all kids could have that!

I got offered the position today! This is something I would have done on a volunteer basis---but I'm getting paid!

I know that there are those on the boards who are having issues with finding one job, and I'm sorry for that. I feel fortunate that I have the ability and opportunity for this 2nd job...

All it takes is getting out there and applying in a positive manner! Good for you instead of whinng and make excuse after excuse.

I hope it all balances well for your family.

Awesome-what a great opportunity for you. They are lucky to have you. What a blessing...Accept it, and give praise to the Lord.
