I hope that those of you who are so judgmental, rude, and snide experience something that rocks your life in a way that you have no control over so that instead of judging people you feel humbled and realize that ANYTHING bad can happen to anyone.

When someone gets cancer do you say "it's her fault she did not eat right, she smoked or did this or that I hope she hurries up and dies and quits making excuses". If someone's child dies do you say "well she should have fed him right and not allowed him to cross the street"

I have never wished bad on anyone however I have found such judgmental b!tch3$ as the women on this forum in my life.

I don't know if it's because it's "anonymous" or if some of you are this horrendous even in real life. Either way I am hoping that someday soon you will experience something in your lives that is out of your control and that causes you hardship.

People think it all the time I am saying it out loud.

I have been on this forum for many years and lately it seems there are some bad apples that came in around the past few years...Very rude and judgemental as well. Used to be this was the only place on the net I found with a warm and friendly group.

I don't know that people are necessarily mean and hateful, I do think that sometimes the written word can be misconstrued simply because there's no way to tell if the person is being snide or whatever.

Not at all Marilyn you are one of those who does NOT beat around the bush but rather say things as you see them.

I am glad I am not the only one who sees the rudeness. Some people come here to vent some for actual help on things some just to get ideas and others unfortunately to be rude and snide.

I read through a number of threads and post on a few but I really couldn't see where there is rudeness on this board for the most part. Maybe because the issues are not mine, I am not as attuned to what people write.

I will say from being on internet baords for a long time, that some people post because they need a place to vent and really only want to hear "saying prayers"...."I am so sorry that happened" etc. Lots of people do that and I guess both parties are happy.

However, there are also people who offer "advice" and sometimes that may be misconstrued by the poster who isn't looking for that.

I have to agree. I've been on these boards since 1999 and just recently have found a different board based on the same money-saving goal, but none of the cattiness. I hate this because I've always been a loyal mycouponer, but the vibe on the other board is much better.

If you're going to wish bad things on people, try something like "I am hoping you die in a trailer park explosion while trying to deep fry a frozen turkey."

Hoping that someone experiences a hardship so they can be humbled is weak, step it up.

Anna...I don't really think that you wish anyone harm or bad luck...I think that you are just venting probably...As the old saying goes, don't judge a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes...Yes, people can be mean, unforgiving, and resentful sometimes...But life goes on...In the grand scheme of things, this is just an internet message board...As long as you know that you are living your life in the right way, not intentionally hurting anyone, and being the best person that you can possibly be, that's all that matters. Anna sorry op your having a bad day. I have learned this from this forum, sometimes we have to agree to disagree and while we all have our owm personal views on topics, there is never ever a reason to get nasty or plain out rude. For me personally I take issues that are very dear to my heart sometimes too seriously but again thats me. I personally also have been picked at for my bad usage of grammar, which I have decided so what its me and either like it or do not read. I have also decided to not to post into threads that I do not agree with because only flames will fly, which is sad, but for me to continue its not going to get me anywhere. However if a post just pop up and I strongly feel like I must say something then I will post. Again by this point I think I can pretty much say we truly know how each other feels here on the board. Or in other words say if the topic of religion or politics comes up I can predict who and what there response will be. Anyway if I said something to upset you I am also sorry and sincerely hope things are better for you. Peace. Catherine

From what I have seen through life those kind of people will never be humbled no matter what. They never take responsibilty for their actions and they don't learn from lifes experiences. Things that happen to them always happen because someone else did or did not do something to them.

I'm sorry Anna that people have made you feel this way and I can honestly say I have had those exact same thoughts once or twice myself in life. I know it is wrong and when I cool down I always feel bad about it because I am not generally like that but some people just push you to that one point.

I feel sorry for people like that as I feel they must be feeling awfully miserable to act like that or else maybe they are or have been constantly surrounded with people that act like that and it just rubbed off onto them.

I left the boards for a long time because of the comments that I would get from a select few that was just to much. I remember that this use to be THE place you could come to and complain and vent and NOT have to worry about having to come back and defend what you just said. ('99 was when I first visited this site) People would take your side and you felt that you had the whole world on your side.
I left this site for sometime because I had one poster that it seemed would come on after EVERY post that I made and have something to say (even if it was on the shopping store and would say that she doubt i found such deals) and then it was odd that i would get some really awful comments on photos that i posted on the link in my old signature so I stopped visiting.
I am more of a reader than poster but I just had to post that I understand how you are feeling when you wrote this.
