I have a small plastic circle filled with sparkly confetti that reads "I'm Special", and a My Little Pony Christmas ornament.

My mom got me the "I'm Special" thing as a joke - we always joke about how *I* am special. LOL. (But I really AM special..... )

I have a Blessing Braid that I made. I change the braids at each Sabbat (holiday) - I made them differently depending on which Sabbat they are for. DH has Betty Boop hanging from his rearview mirror :-)

I have one of those tree shaped air fresheners. Hmmm....Time to put in a new one!

DH and I don't have anything hanging from the rearview mirror. Absolutely drives both of us crazy as it blocks our field of vision.

Just my parking pass for work, which isn't visible at all to me. Otherwise, I hate things hanging from my mirror. I find it distracting.

I thought it was illegal to hang things from your rear view mirror. I've never heard of it being inforced, but I do find that it's blocks your view and is distracting. I don't mean to be a pain in the butt, cubmom, but the handicapped placards even say that they are not to be hanging while driving.

I have a tiny pteradactyl(sp??)that I got at the zoo a long time ago. He's wearing one of those poppies that the disabled veterans make as a hat.

Sadly, I've been pulled over for speeding since Pterry has been there and the cop never said a word about him. I would think he would have tacked something onto the ticket if Pterry was illegal or at least would have made me take him down.

I have some necklace pendants and a guardian angel. They hang on chains and don't impede my view. I think it's illegal to hang things that block your view but I have NEVER heard of anyone getting a ticket so maybe it's not unless it blocks the whole window or something.

I googled it but could not find anything related to Oregon although I can see it's clearly illegal in some other states. I also noted that very few people get pulled over or ticketed for it which leads me to believe that perhaps officers use it like they use the "burned out license bulb" to only pull over people whom they think might be guilty of other offenses.

With my old car I used to have a few things...some crystals and other small trinkets. Not now. The cops will look for any excuse to pull you over around here and I don't need the hassle. Not sure if it's legal or not. ~Lisa

A red stilletto high heeled shoe that is an air freshener. It has long since lost its' "freshening" powers, but, I like it, and haven't seen one like it, so it stays for now.

I had stuff hanging from it when I was driving junky cars in high school and college, but since I've had nicer cars, nothing. I don't like the appearance. Same with bumper stickers.

I have a silver chain with two dog tag type pendants on it. One with DS's name and the other with DD's name. Also, my hands free device for my cell phone.

I have my number 3 which is the 3rd grade parent pick up pass. Got to have it or I can't get in the school parking lot to pick up daughter......wonder if they would really keep her? LOL

I have pink fuzzy dice and a Yankee car freshener. One of my kids won the dice at a fair about 5 or 6 years ago and put them up there and they have just been left there. Helps me spot my vehicle in a crowded parking lot, if I am just glancing around, I see those big fuzzy dice. i don't think it's illegal here in Oklahoma, I have been stopped recently by the police because one of my brakelights was out and they didn't mention anything hanging on the mirror.
