Book/Author Recommendations?

I have had a run on my paperbackswap account and now have 30 credits. Does anyone have any book or author recommendations? I prefer romance-types and love to laugh, but I'm open to anything.

Thanks!

Renee

Want to laugh....try some of the Jen Lancaster books. If you were a teen in the 80's you will love her new book "Pretty in Plaid" -- but I think "Bright Lights, Big Ass" is my favorite.

She also writes a blog at jennsylvania so you can get a taste of how she writes....

Karen Kingsbury, especially the Baxter 15 book series. I've laughed and I've cried. She is awesome. The Redemption, First Born and Sunrise Series (5 books in each series). I buy anything she writes now. I was introduced to this series when I picked up all 5 of the Redemption series books at Goodwill and fell in love with the Baxter family and then went on to buy the rest of them at the bookstore. I will buy anything she writes. This is one of the few book series that you actually feel like you know the people. I remember worrying about one of the characters in one of the books and had to remind myself that they aren't real people! lol Wonderful reading!

Do you like PNR?
I love the Mercy thompson series by Patricia briggs,
The Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews
The Kitty Norville series by Carrie Vaughn.
If you like more hard core The Mona Lisa books by Sunny aren't bad.
Everyone talks about the Breed books by Lora Leigh but they are way too much for me.
Oh, there is also the Cassie Palmer series by Karen Chance and the lupi series by Eileen Wilks.
My brother of all people introduced me to some of the PNR series and I have been tearing through them.
