pet people....have you seen..?

Has anyone seen a collar activated pet feeder? Meaning that it has a lid and when my little kitty goes to eat she can walk up to the feeder and it will open just for her.

My fat cat will eat all of the food if it is left out. He also will finish his and her portions so fast! I do feed them only 1 cup 2x's per day, but he ends up eating most of it because she doesn't like him and will move away just to get him away from her

Has anyone seen anything like this out there? Years ago I saw one on a shopping network and didn't buy it and of course now I am looking for one!

Thanks in advance!

No, but that would be awesome if it's out there.

I have one sick cat whose underweight and only grazes through the day, I can't get him to eat more than a couple bites at a time. I've got an overweight cat that's supposed to be on a diet, that steals food. A kitten that backs away as soon as another animal comes around and a dog that scarfs down anything the fat cat doesn't.

I feed the dog and fat cat twice a day. The kitten 3 times a day. They all have separate bowls, but if I don't supervise feeding time, who knows who's eating what.

The sick one's food is in a closet with a sliding door. Whenever he gets hungry I open it for him and then close it when he gets done. A lot of times I can't sit and wait for him to finish and get distracted and forget to shut the door.

Feeding them is a fiasco and almost a part time job.

I'm ready to feed fat cat and the dog in the crates, and not let them out until the kitten's done. And maybe even keep the sick cat in a separate room with his food and a litter box.

If that feeder is out there, it would make my day so much simpler.

They make them for cows, I saw one probably 20 years ago at a Dairy farm. We've been saying for years that we NEED this for at least one of our cats - aka the one that we wouldn't put a collar on (lol). We figure inside of a day or two she'd learn how to pin one of the other cats and drag them to the bowl to activate it to get hers.
