lol I went over to my nearest Walmart super-center around 9:30 Halloween night. I asked two clerks (men) in the Halloween section who were already sorting things out what time it will go 50% off. They said midnight. So I said something like "cool, I'll be back later". So I went back over around 11:00. Had a nice time taking my time looking at everything. I really wanted more purple lights and I got those. I also got a lot of the crazy eyeglasses to give out in the treat bags next year. I got a lot of candy and had a cartful. I went up and got in line at 12:04AM. When I got up to the checkout the lady said "no" it NEVER goes 1/2 at midnight, it's always 5:00AM, you will have to come back. I said "no, I was told by your employees that it was midnight and made a special trip back. She said she's sorry but it's not on sale. I asked for the the manager. Luckily, a sweet, young couple was behind me and told the clerk that the employees told them the exact same thing. Yippee, some back-up! lol They weren't local and had an approx 40 minute drive back home. They specifically waited just for the sale after the clerks told them it would start at midnight. The checker went ahead and manually adjusted all our stuff and was not too happy about doing it. Sorry lady, it's not our fault, it's your employees fault.
Off to Target at 8:00!!! More purple lights!

Walmart is so danged stingy I swear ! I hate it !
