I teach four and five year olds who love dress up. They do get frustrated when they can't get the costumes easily. My little girl is 3 and she loves to put her different dresses on and wear house slippers as her special shoes. My little boy is 2 and he could careless if he ever dresses up. Are the costumes easy to put on? If she can slip them on and off by herself I would say it is okay. She might not play with them right away, but she will probably enjoy them.

OMG my niece is the queen of dress up! 2-3 years ago for Christmas I went to the dollar store and bought tons of clothes, jewels, tiaras..all the stuff she'd need for hours of fun. Then I got a cheap cardboard box, with a lid...like the type you'd store clothes in, painted it pink and put "Jessie's Dress-Up" in big foam letters on the top. My sister told me it was her most favorite gift. And she STILL plays dress-up with it! Cost me very little but making her happy was the best!!
