Retin - A ??

Just wondering if any of yall use, or have used Retin A.
If not, what skincare do yall use? I am really wanting to work on my face, but can't really afford a micro dermabrasion. Lokking for results with things I can get my hands on.

Any good results?? Thanks!!

I have used prescription Retin-A for 20 years. It was prescribed because of sun damage...too much sun in my teenage and early adult years. I am a faithful user and I think my face looks good now. My sister, who I only see twice a year, thinks my face looks terrific and is jealous....so much so that she is going to ask her dermatologist about prescribing it for her! And she is my younger sister!!! So I guess the results have been good but it's a long, steady process so don't expect results instantly.

What strength is yours? And do you put it around your eyes or not?

I use 0.1% which I think is the strongest. I didn't start off with this strength...I worked up to it.
I do apply it under my eyes now but I haven't alays done that. Retin-A has a tendancy to dry out your skin so that's why you work up to the strength that you can tollerate. I've been doing this for 20 years and guess I will always use it!

How often do you apply it? Is it every night? I've been thinking about this recently too with a few of the wrinkles I've been seeing around my eyes and forehead. I remember back about 13 years ago in my senior yr of high school, my skin was horrible with acne and so I was prescribed it but it was extremely harsh and burned my skin badly. Sorry for so many questions, just curious. Also, is it the plain Retin A or the Retin A micro?

I put it on every night and I am faithful....never miss a night!

I think when I first began using Retin-A it had a drying effect on my skin but I don't remember it burning my skin. I used the lesser strength then and have worked my way up to 0.1%. Perhaps a good moisturizer during the day would help the effects of Retin-A. Today I have no side effects from Retin-A! It's just part of my nightly routine.

Also, is it the plain Retin A or the Retin A micro?
I use the plain Retin-A cream in a tube.
