Question HELP~anyone get wake up headaches in this weather?

Let me explain. For the past several days (5 days) I have been having headaches. I do not normally have headaches and I do not like taking medicine. It seems that when I wake up I notice that they are there. They travel around but right now the headache seems to be squeezing my temple area. If I scruch up my face it hurts. I took some tylenol this morning and it helps but only for about 30-45 minutes. This is limiting me in what I can do since I feel like my head is being cracked like an egg shell. Does anyone think it could be that the heat is on while I sleep? My room is not hot but it is warm. I will try sleeping with no heat on tonight and then I will try a humidifer the next night just as a test. ANY advice is welcomed since I am in pain and it just seems good to sit with my eyes closed and the hood from my sweatshirt pulled over my head BUT I do need to do some things. Thank you in advance!!!

ALSO~I do not drink anything with caffine and I am trying to drink even more water than I normally do.

Have you remembered to change your heater filter?Another thing that helps me when I get those headaches is oxygen.Try cracking open your window and letting some fresh oxygen in your house.

I don't know what the weather's been doing there, but we were outside all weekend with a soccer tournement with the girls. It's been really windy here and DH & I both had headaches last night. I thought it might just be that we were out in the wind all weekend, but we had cracked the window and I was planning on sleeping with it open, but DH closed it and said he thought it was his allergies.

I don't know what it was, but it's not fun. I hope you get it figured out.

Make sure it's not carbon monoxide. Do you have gas heat? Carbon monoxide poisoning's first symptom is headaches. Other than that it could be anything. Pain in your face and eyes and forehead area could indicate sinus problems.

When I get that kind of headache, only Advil Cold and Sinus helps. But follow xpcandy's advice first and make sure it's not carbon monoxide.

When I was a teenager I lived with a friend of mine for awhile. We woke up with headaches every morning, we just assumed it was because we usually stayed up partying. One day the landlord hired some guys to work on the roof. All of a sudden we saw something fall in front of the window and heard a loud thud. We ran over to the window and saw a guy laying on the ground, then a second guy fell.

Turns out the furnace was messed up and carbon monoxide had collected up in the attic. When they pulled a piece of the roof off, the guys became dizzy and fell.

Right now in our area, there are many people burning leaves and mowing them with their mowers. I usually mow/mulch our leaves up and that tends to give me and also my mother headaches. I think for us it is mainly our seasonal allergies which we hate. I hope you are able to find relief soon.

Last night on the news, the weather guy said anyone who is prone to migraines or weather related headaches should start to feel relief now. This is here, I don't know about there. I didn't catch why, so I don't know if the pressure is changing here or what, but when he said that I thought about you. So it could be weather related...

I would like to thank everyone for thier thoughts and suggestions.
I slept with the heat off, humidifer on and window cracked. It worked the day before yesterday!!!
Last night I felt a headache and took some tylenol before I went to sleep and did the above but woke up with it still there HOWEVER it is not as bad as last week.
Hopefully it will pass as Lisas weatherman said.
Thank you again for your help.
(dollydeal~it did indeed feel like exactly like candy corn headache but i only eat a bag of that prior to halloween :-) )
We also do not have gas heat and WOW that is a scary thing and I do not think that I would want it after reading these posts.
