What is your phone?

I have an N95 which I bought back in 2007. Love it in every aspect except sometimes it's really slow and not responsive enough in switch / opening certain applications.

What's your phone for now?

I have a Samsung A640.I like it except for I can't carry it in a case or pocket because just the slightest touch of the side button automatically calls the last number I dialed. It also constantly makes bleeping sounds while I'm handling it,I don't know what causes it but its annoying.I also don't like the fact that they make it very difficult to edit or delete any saved numbers you have.Other than that I love it and I have a $200 credit towards a new phone but have not found any other phones yet with as many functions as this one has so I haven't traded it in.

I love my nv2 and I'm looking at the nv3. I had the nv1 and it was great. These phones have a qwerty keyboard and take great pictures and video. I have never had a problem with this one at all.

Dolly can't you lock the keyboard?

I don't know how to lock a keyboard on a cellphone.

Update, after checking the settings in my phone I discovered a thing called Key Guard. I turned it on to see what it would do and it does just what I was hoping. It blocks anything from happening when my phone is closed with those side buttons.I wish I knew about this feature before. Thanks!

I have a LG rumor that I love. I hate to talk on the phone but I like to text and it has a slide out keyboard so it works great for me.

I think it really depends on what you want to do with it. I would have no use for an iphone, just too many features I would never use.

I have an enV2 also and I love love LOVE it! I love having the full qwerty keyboard, and everything from taking pics/videos to sending a text message is so easy, the phone practically walks you thru it all.

VM TNT!! Yes - I have a super cheap pay-as-you-go phone, and love it! In fact, I got DS one exactly like mine, but in chocolate brown instead of blue.

DH has a T-Mobile Sidekick - he has internet access on it only - and purchased it one evening while I was in bed. He told me the next morning - Surprise!! Crazy guy! If I would have known he was getting an internet phone, I would have convinced him to get actual call service on it too. I don't think the price difference was too much.

I have a LG Shine. I despise it. The joystick button is a pain. Camera is good but you cannot bluetooth the pictures to your computer without the cable. I don't want to buy one because I will not use this phone long. I am thinking of adding another line and getting a new phone. My 7 yr. old could then use this one on the rare occasion that she is not with me. Not sure what I will get, so definitely watching this thread. Why did I think I did not need QWERTY? lol I thought I did not need all the bells and whistles. But some of them, well I just do.

Hubby and I have the Motorola Rokr phones, I like it pretty well, but you do have to lock the keys (I carry it in my pocket) or it dials everywhere. I got my 14 year old the T-Mobile Dash and I actually think I like her phone better than mine, but hers is more of a texting phone and I don't text at all, which is why I chose the other.

Yeah we have Sprint and I think their phone that is similar is the Instinct. They asked me if I wanted to get it when I got the Rumor and I told them I would never use any of the stuff I could. I just need something I can text on and to be able to use the phone if I ever need to. I am a SAHM so if I need to do something on the internet I can just use the computer. I am always home.

Does Verizon has a similar phone? I will admit I am really liking the Droid, who has that one?

Thanks Keowa I'll check that one in a few months when it's time for my free upgrade. That's another thing I love with VZW I get a new phone free every two years.

You know, I swore when my husband and father talked me into getting a Blackberry that it was useless and I would never use any of the features. I rarely talk on my phone and I have a laptop and a desktop.

I have had my phone almost a year now and I can honestly say I would be lost without it. I never thought I would use half the features but I do. I love getting my email wherever I am and being able to text. I use the word pad to keep my grocery list on and update it right there as I am shopping and pick up things. I use the excel sheet to keep my budget and also prices for things I buy regularly and can keep track of things like price increases and if the volume changes on an item.

I have also used it to price match in stores. If I am at Best Buy and see something and wonder if Sears carries it, I can jump online and compare right then and there.

It has a calendar and I keep all my appointments on there with reminders. I can enter the address and phone number right in the notes box on the appointment so if I am running late I just bring up the appointment and call from there instead of searching through my contacts to find the phone number.

A nice feature is it links with my computer too. So I can use the camera or video camera and upload them right to my computer instead of having to email them to myself if I take something on my phone that I want to keep on my computer.

I have a ton of apps and games that I play with too when I am waiting in the doctors office or what not.

I also have the GPS feature turned on on mine and it works great. There are so many things you can use the GPS function for besides just getting directions.

My mother in law who never really used her cell phone ended up getting a blackberry after playing with mine. She was another one who thought she wouldn't use all the features and is now a crackberry addict too.

I had a Blackberry Pearl before I got the storm. I love the touch screen compared to the roller ball.

Just thought I would let everyone who thinks they wouldn't use the features how suprised they might be that there are alot of things they would use it for.
