My son's mother-in-law had a double mastectomy three weeks ago on a Tuesday. Sent home on Thursday with drains and the only medicine prescribed for pain was Tylenol. She was back in the hospital one week later for more surgery to repair one of the drain sites that "didn't look quite right". She was discharged the next day still with the drains in. This is just wrong. What she had was major surgery and she definitely should have been kept for several days for qualified nurses to monitor the incision. I signed the petition and hope lots more people do too.

Yeah, I hope everybody who read this post took the time to sign the petition and send an email to everybody in their address books.

Breast cancer is such an awful thing to go through without having to be rushed out of the hospital when you need care

Thank you I'm posting a link on my FB page. This is ridiculous.

Signed it. Big business and medical decisions = bad idea.

I signed the petition and responded to email verification. They were well over half way to the 40,000 signatures when I signed it last night. The site was extremely slow; so, hopefully, lots of others are doing the same.
