Need Ideas for Dressing Child as Word for Word Day at School

Drawing a blank on dressing 7 yr. old daughter as a Word for Word Day at school. Never heard of this before and my imagination is on vacation it seems.

Thanks

Dress all in red and put spots on her face = strawberry. Or a hat with a stem = apple. Or, all rainbow colors = rainbow. Or, everything on backwards = backwards. Or, hum ... dress all in blue = blueberry. Or, .... hum .... LOL Good luck. Maybe you have some old Halloween costumes around to inspire you.

I saw this in my textbook. They had vocabulary day. The little girl dressed up as
Miss Alainus. She had on a cape with all different things on it.

We did the same thing on Halloween at my elem school They read the Miss Alaineus book on the morning news program.
Amazon.com: Miss Alaineus: A Vocabulary Disaster (9780152060534): Debra Frasier: Books

And then the kids dressed up as a vocabulary word. Some classes used their actual words they were studying, some used words from a story that they were reading, etc.

My principal dressed as Miss Alaineus and led the parade! Even the teachers got into it! My word was apathetic and I didn't do anything....lol.

It was really cute and the kids came up with some great costumes. It worked out that we did it on Halloween, so the kids could dress up without coming in "halloween costumes" ...Ya know?

Put a yellow stripe down her back and she can go as "coward".

Thanks for the ideas! I will go through the house today and see what we have to work with. We try to participate in everything. Yet, sometimes the old imagination sneaks away.

What about "regal"? She could dress like a queen. Or "spectacular" that could be just about anything fancy. Or "fancy"?
