cubmom2, given the title mentioned, I would say yes, that sunsetbeach is speaking of New Moon. I would recommend reading the series though because it is AWESOME!! Going to see New Moon this afternoon. YEAH!!!

Hummm I read all 4 books also and so far at least twilight was pretty close to the movie. I want to see New Moon but I don't want it to be crowded so I might wait until next week Tuesday to see it, you left me really curious as how the movie ends I am going to look at the book to see if its the same ending as the movie.

My daughter got me to start reading the Twilight books. I am on the third book now, and it will take me quite a while to finish (as I read a little here and there).

So, who has seen New Moon this weekend? What rating would you give it?

I saw New Moon last night and it rocked! It was so much better than Twilight. I really enjoyed the books and this was much more true to the story. We had a group of friends go and it was a blast.

The ending was a cliffhanger, I "liked" the movie (did not love) but the ending made me want to see what happens next. So I will be at the next one.
Oh and I did read the first book and thought it was OK and I saw the Twilight DVD 2 days ago and it was not as good as the book, so I wanted to see New Moon before I read the book and I am glad I did that, I watched the movie not expecting anything.

Hi, sunsetbeach! The movie was okay for the most part. My friend & I ended up being seated next to a film student that picked apart the entire movie. Luckily, my friend was sitting next to her & heard more of it than I heard. LOL!! I was bugged by the fact that people brought their itty bitty children to the movie because it is definitely NOT appropriate for young ones. I LOVED the ending though because it was a GREAT cliffhanger. Hee Hee!! Just a few more months until Eclipse......

I was horrified at how little the movie followed book. I will say the acting was MUCH better but really hated some of the other things they changed. I didn't mind getting up and going to the bathroom in the middle. I wish I had gone out during the cliff jumping scene or the ending I just kept thinking' how could they'. Don't reads the books first if you want to enjoy the movies,

I've read the books and the partial book online (on her website). I loved the movie.
