My DD went to Roanoke Va. today to see Sarah Palin. Silly kid was there by 3am and stood in line. They were afraid they wouldn't get a bracelet to get their books signed. Then there were ppl who showed up later and still got in. lol Oh well, she had fun. She said she was beautiful and very warm. They really had a good time in spite of the early hour...Hopefully her dear mother will be the recipient of her second signed copy. They also got to see a couple of her kids and several other members of her family. Very cool. I would never do that, but I'm glad she had fun!! lol

The news reported over a thousand people showed up. Some showed up as early as Saturday. They said Sarah said she would sign all books even if they didn't have the wrist band. So basically Sarah said to let everyone keep coming in. From what was reported on TV, the crowd was HUGE. She was very well received in Roanoke and is very popular. I'm hoping to get her book for Christmas. I have it on my list!!!

How fortunate for her to have had that experience! I'm a little green with envy!

Sorry, I've been in Lynchburg with DD and they don't have internet at their house yet.

DD said that they showed up at 3am like I mentioned before, but the ppl that got there around 10 am still got in. She got to see many of her family members and took pic s in front of her bus!!lol She did have fun and said it was worth it!
