Do you lotion up after a shower ?

I've been using lotion much lately. Never really was a lotion type before. I enjoy B&BW scented ones..and a few Avons..

Just finished up a bottle of B&BW sleep lavender..in the blue glass bottle.

Yes, I use mostly BBW. I am currently using the Wild Honeysuckle Triple Moisture body Cream. I also have the body wash in that scent, and then the spray mist.

I also like the Japanese Cherry Blossom scent. Been using the Shea Cashmere hand cream.

We have a BBW about a mile and half from where I live. I seem to go in there at least once a month, if not more. I need to stay away from there because I spend way too much money in there!

Me, too! Dry skin stinks. I don't use the fancy smelly ones. I use Curel. It absorbs quickly and doesn't seem to leave a greasy feel.

No, they all make me feel sticky. I'm old, but my skin is oddly undry. It's about the only thing that isn't falling apart on me!

Oh I agree!! I don't have extremely dry skin, however, DS does. In the winter I have to have my back lotioned! I love the light orangey scent of Curel. It's the only lotion DH will use.

I don't but I should. My skin is very dry year round, but especially in the winter.

I use Curel. It does not make my skin greasy. I am tried a lot of other stuff too but nothing is as good as Curel. It suits my skin.

I have very dry body skin. It itches in the winter too.

I sometimes put lotion on after showering.

I have found it best thing for me is to put baby oil in a spray bottle and squirt myself down at the end of the shower and do a light rinse. I can easily squirt my back, legs, toes, etc. I might do a quick rub in before I rinse. Then I towel off and continue on. I seem to get better coverage and less dry skin by using the oil in the shower instead of lotion.

I should also say that I've experimented and bought oils of different kinds and in different price ranges. The best oil is just the baby oil from the Dollar Store for $1.00. A bottle lasts a long time. I suspect you could add a scent to it but I don't. I think sometimes the perfumed stuff can make your skin drier or irritated.

I could just see myself slipping in the shower I am clumsy so won't try this!! I am also too lazy to lotion after the shower, I hate the feel of the lotion right after, I know I should but don't.

Actually my tub doesn't get slippery from the oil. I spray it directly on me.

It's funny how we all have our own way of doing things. :-)

I also use some powder after I am dried off I love baby power the one with cornstarch.. Peace and happy holiday season 09 to all. Catherine

Nope. I don't like the feeling of it. I am sorta dry but not scaly so I don't bother. I do use my facial moisterizer (which doesn't have the same feeling as lotion for the body) on my face, neck and chest. I do have an Aveda hand moisterizer that I use at night but that's about it.

I like the BBW smells but none of the lotions "feels right" on my skin

I have very dry skin that drives me crazy. Love lotions, BBW, Aerie, The Body Shop. Love the Body Butter from The Body Shop. They are so cool and soothing. I just have to put it on my feet and pretty much all over. Makes me stop itching and burning.

Yes, I have to or my skin is extremely itchy and flaky. I go between Curel (the non-greasy one), BBW Moonlight Path and Mary Kay's Linen and Bamboo body lotion. It seems if I stick with one more than a couple days, it stops working.
