Last weekend my son calls from college with broken glasses. He ends up getting some at Lenscrafters in Ca. that were on sale so that's not so bad. A few days later one of my lens's (sp) fell out and for the life of me I can't find it! Luckily they are still under warranty so they will be fixed. In the meantime I'm wearing my old ones which I can tell aren't the right prescription. My son will bring his broken ones back at Christmas and get them replaced under warranty so he will have a spare, always a good idea. My car locks haven't been working for quite awhile with my automatic lock system, the windows haven't been able to roll down for a few months and my key doesn't always want to unlock the door manually so I had to finally take it in. So that was two days without a car and almost a $1400.00 bill. Meanwhile I have a really bad sinus type headcold. Last night I woke up after two hours of sleep and couldn't get back to sleep. After almost 4 hours tossing and turning I got up and had a tiny snack and had one little tootsie roll. Took a chew or two on it and pulled out part of a back molar. So it's off to the dentist tomorrow and I really, really hope it can be re-filled and not crowned. I don't have dental insurance and with that whopper car bill I dread another unexpected expense like a crown. My family is healthy and life is pretty good so this is just a blip on the road but it's still a downer.

I hope things go better for you Kathy! It always seems things happen all at once but then you'll be blessed with a roll of good luck so just know it will all be over soon. Sorry I hope you feel better that will no doubt make everything else not seem so bad. Sending positive energy your way.

Yippee, no crown! Of course if it breaks again it's crown time. $150 for a filling vs $750.00 for a crown. With no dental insurance that's big difference!
