Wink Kindly list the reasons why you love your husband tia

With the holidays coming and always having so much to be thankful for I decided to write down some reasons why I love my husband kindly share tia and peace in this holiday season 09.
the reasons I love my husband
first and foremost for being the best absolute loving caring concerned thoughtful always there 110 percent for our children
For getting early every day and going to work and providing a secure life for us and never ever once complaining about the hard work or the long hours
If I do not feel like cooking like tonite its never a problem
Whatever I cook for him anything he will never know until he sits down to eat literally except for peanut butter and egg salad or liver he never ever complains
Even though he works long hours he still helps me clean the house in fact he cleans more then I do
For excepting me for who I am he married me knowing I suffered with my nerves and as always been there 110 percent and there are times I do not feel like driving some where or going food shopping by myself and he will come without a question.
There are many reasons too many too list but the most important is he is my soulmate and our love story from meeting each other and 3 months later getting engaged to 4 months later getting married and here we are 24 almost years later and it still feels like yesterday I thank God everyday for my wonderful Husband Tommy... So feel free to share I love , reading love stories... Peace . Catherine

Because he's probably the most honest person that I know...He's a real man of integrity and I respect him so much because of that...I actually get mad at him sometimes because in certain situations I feel that he's almost too honest (if there is such a thing!). Thank God I have him to call me out when I'm doing something that isn't on the up and up or when I'm not being nice...He truly lives by the motto "if you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"...He's a great father to our kids...I tell them that they are so lucky to have that because my father was very distant to us when I was growing up...He's not a big drinker...He's not a womanizer...He's never abused me...He's treats my parents nicely...He's very spiritual and goes to church every Sunday, which is more than I can say for myself...He's a hard worker and has always provided for us so that I could stay home and raise our kids...He's very easygoing and doesn't get mad often...He's been very supportive of me over the years with me and my addiction...any other man would have left me a long time ago...I've always loved the Celine Dion song "Because You Loved Me" because it reminds me of him... ~Lisa

Can I be thankful that I don't have a husband? lol Marilynk where are you? I have my two sons and dil, my mom (85!), brother, sister and her husband and some of the most awesome friends a person could have. I enjoy my job, have pretty good health, peace in my soul, a nice house, food on the table, etc.... I've been married twice (for a total of 20 years) and I've never been happier than I am now. So I'll be grateful I don't have a husband!

Kts thanks for answering into the post of course you may say whatever you want and hon if you have happiness in your life and your tried marriage and it did not work out I am sorry. But again the main thing is hon is that your happy and wherever you find happiness is all that matters cause life is way too short. Marriage is not for everyone in fact I have some family members and one friend who also like you are happier not being married so again hon as long as your happy that is all that matters peace to you and your family in this holiday season. I don't have a husband but I have had a great sweetie for over 19 years.

I love him because;

He makes me smile - everyday
He calls me on my BS which makes me a better person
He makes me see both sides to an argument
He understands that I am not a romantic and makes it work
He's HOT (ok probably just to me)
He goes along with most of my more harebrained ideas and knows when to put the brakes on them.
He can walk into a house that looks like it has been ransacked and never worry if it will get cleaned up or not.(this is a big one)

Aw heck I think I'll keep him.
Psst, don't tell him but I bought a ring and will be proposing soon.

Thank you Catherine for starting this post.
Sometimes in the stress of everyday living we forgot the good stuff. Thanks for reminding us.

I am very lucky. Yes there are times that he truly annoys me but when you take the good with the bad the good wins out by far. He is responsible, doesn't smoke, drink much, wonanize, abuse me or the kids. If I were to ask for help he is right there. He doesn't go out with the guys drinking and playing poker. He istruly a nice guy. We both love to take long drives and nature walks. I am sure I will think of more.

My husband has a lot of patience and a great sense of humor. He is sweet and does everything he can to keep me happy. He is a good provider and he is thoughtful and considerate. He appreciates everything I do for him and the house.

He is also a what I see as a "typical" man being clueless about some things. I always compare him to Ray Romano or one of the other sweet but clueless tv husbands.

I tried to think of all the reasons that I love my husband and what makes us such a strong couple, I couldnt find the words.

So, I simply think this....

We are best friends, sounds corny but true. We make a really good team. It doesnt matter what, we work well together. And lastly, he thinks about me and my feelings, needs, comfort, and wants ALL the time. My friends say that I am spoiled, I dont think so. I am just loved very well.

There is this one song that makes me cry everytime I hear it. It says so much of want to tell my husband and it just beautiful. Of course, he found it and sent the song to me first. It is called Thank You by Johnny Reid.
