Do you get gifts for your pets?

I do.

My cat is spoiled. This year, she's getting 'Mouse in the House' and 'Undercover Mouse' electronic toys. I'm sure she'd prefer the real thing, but these will have to do. Actually, I think she'll love them both. She had a toy called "Panic Mouse" when she was a kitten. It's battery operated. If it wasn't turned on when she wanted to play, she'd drag it to us so we'd turn it on. She even dragged it down the stairs a few times!

no never have. But that's ok our dog plays on her terms and she's done after a toss or 2 of her toy then that's all your getting cause she's not moving. She's more of a couch decoration than a player, kinda like the throws people have on the back of the couch.... thats her.

Yes the cat just ignores them but the dog loves her presents. They both have big stockings one with cat paws and Meow and one with bones and Woof. We love our pets!

Of course we. If not, the dogs will "open" our gifts for us. lol
As a matter of fact, we can't put anything under the tree until Christmas Eve. They love opening up presents. It's the lab in them.
Our cats don't care, but they always get some mice & treats. We have to open them for them though.

When I was a kid, we got the dog presents and wrapped them. He loved unwrapping his gifts with us. It was so funny.

Actually, he was like a kid himself. If we left his gifts under the tree, he'd sneak in, grab them, and unwrap them before Christmas. He usually just took his. One year he snagged a box of chocolates and ate them all. He was a tiny dachshund. We were lucky he didn't get poisoned. (We didn't know then that chocolate was poisonous to dogs.)

Not typically. I think I did for our dog Hanna when our kids were little a couple times. But it was more for the kids than for her.

Someone mentioned dressing your dog for the Holidays. I think I'll try to do that for our fam Christmas party. It will be Bella's introduction to them and I think they will get a kick out of it. Thanks for the idea!!

My cat is my furry child and just as much a member of the family as anyone else. Having said that, it's obvious that I do, huh? LOL

Yes, I get prezzies for my cat and sometimes for my sis/bil cats and my mom/dads cats. My cat always gets a gift, usually a can of that real fancy food, some treats or catnip and a fur mouse if the supply is running low. But she doesn't have a stocking and I don't wrap the stuff, I just give it to her on Christmas day.

If I get catnip, I get enough for all cats in the family to share. I get it from the whole foods co-op, only organic "weed" for my pets, and can get enough for the whole clan for less than $2. We joke that the cats split a dime bag for the holidays(yes, we make endless jokes about the cats and their "weed" addiction).

When I was a kid we always bought a gift for the family pets usually a treat and a toy. Those pets had stockings and the dogs would unwrap their own gifts.

We're so bad that we actually make coments/jokes to the pets that they better behave or "Santa Cat" won't bring them anything !

All of my animals get presents and they have stockings too. They love it. One year I bought cat nip and put it in their stocking. On Christmas morning I got up and all the cats were passed out on the couch with the stocking between them and the nip ripped into. The funny thing is the stocking was hanging with the others, so someone climbed up and drug just their stocking down and then brought it up on the couch. I could just picture them cheering on the one that pulled down the stocking lol.

I do and this year I have our new kitten to get gifts for too!! I usually get a new toy and some pig ears for our lab, Scout...she loves those pig ears so we save them for special occasions. I haven't thought yet what to get Mandy, but I'm sure the girls will help me decide.

We don't usually get our cat a gift but we do get something for our 'grand-dog', since we spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with his family.
We like to put a treat inside the wrapping so he will tear into it himself.
This year they have had an addition to the family and Shiloh has a 'brother' and Hunter will get a gift as well!
