Bronner's

Has anyone ever been to Bronner's? It's a HUGE Christmas store in Frankenmuth Mi. I was just watching the Travel channel and they are covering the most Christmasy places..It's open 361 days a year and the biggest Christmas store. I've seen billboards for it all over the country.

Anyway, I grew up 4 miles from it and I never visited it until after I moved away!! That's the way it goes, huh? It's a pretty cool place if you like Christmas!

I was there about 13 years ago. It's almost overwhelming but it's a lot of fun!

I didn't know that they had a retail store. I've gotten their catalogs before. It sounds like a place I'd love to visit if I'm ever up that way! ~Lisa

I grew up not far from Frankenmuth MI and used to visit the town and Bronner's often.
Frankenmuth is a small town that's core residents are Bavarian descendants and it is known as Michigan's Little Bavaria. They host a bunch of really cool festivals and one of the best Oktoberfests this side of Germany.
I used to love to go there.

Bronner's store complex is on literally acres of land. To visit can be an all day affair. Very neat place.
A couple links about Frankenmuth and Bronner's

Just ordered this ornament for my niece who had a baby three weeks ago:

Also ordered the "dad" one, too.

Yes I have, a few times. I live about 2 1/2 hours away but my aunt and myself go up there once or twice a year to visit. It's really amazing. We also do the shops and eat the yummy food at the Bavairan Inn. They also have homemade bread. My son loves going to the old fashioned country store where he can pick out his candy out of the wooden buckets for a few cents per each one. We always have a great time up there.

Cajmom, have you ever been to Kern's while you were there? My bil's family owns it. I would rather go downtown and walk around than go to Bronner's. It's just a bit much for me. We would take our kids when they were little, or out of town visitor's if their interested, but other than that we usually steer clear. lol

No, I don't believe I ever have. I'll have to stop in next time I'm up there. It's a really neat town. The kids like going over the covered bridge and getting different flavored popcorn. They also like the watching the clock tower show.
