Ishould've bought it when I saw it ! thread

What deal did you wait on but never bought..now that you think it over, you should of gotten in on it because it WAS such a great deal.

Mine was..about 2 years ago Amazon had a steal of a deal on a red Radio Flyer wagon..with free shipping..it was going to be almost 60% off. My kids are grown, so that is why I thought it over for so long..

Now I wish I would of got it. I could use it to haul laundry when we go camping..or haul items out of the garage when I want to clean it.

Never saw a great deal on them again.

what was your " I wish I had bought one !" goof ?

A small house in NH on a lake complete with it's own little island with a small cabin. It was owned by a preacher who used the shack/cabin on the teeny island to write his sermons. This was back around 1980, I think. DH and I worked the numbers every way possible and payments woulda been $100/mo more than we felt comfortable handling.
We still kick ourselves for not going for it. I think the price for the whole thing was about 36K.

Yup, this summer there were TONS of zhu zhu pets out... Why would anyone buy those things? Well because their little 4 year old is only asking for those for Christmas and of course they can not be found ANYWHERE! She's too cute though, she calls them Suzy pets...

When I was in PA a few weeks ago I went to an antique store that had old little golden books, they were marked between $2-5 each and I wanted some for this corner of my livingroom where I have a wooden rocking chair from when my dad was a kid there and a doll sitting in it that my grandma had from before my dad was born. Next to it I have a basket with some old toys a slinky, jacks, silly puddy, coloring books and crayons. So I thought I would add some old little golden books and it would give a cute added touch. I didn't buy them there but got some from ebay and now I am seeing that the bids on some of the ones I saw at that store are going for more than $2-5 on ebay and I wish I did buy them. I did get lucky though, at a thrift store in Pa I did buy one that had a blue spine for 25 cents and i saw bids on that same book at 20.00. So now what was suppose to be 2-3 books to give an added touch to a basket, has turned into a new collection for me, and I keep looking for and buying them.

Last month during the Woot-Off there were these little digital cameras for around $5 - maybe even less (I think they were less). I joked that I was going to get some of them. By the time I really decided to get them, it was too late. They were gone. Next time I see something during a Woot-Off I will not think about it before I buy it. LOL.

On our honeymoom 20 years ago we took a cruise. One of our stops was in Jamaica. Their exchange rate at the time was 8 Jamaican to 1 American dollar. Everyone on the ship was buying pearls there. We were newly married and didn't have much extra money so we passed. I wish we'd have bought some of those pearls. They'd probably be worth a lot now!

I have seen lots of things I wish I would have bought. My biggest regret is not buying two homes years ago when they were cheap living in one and selling the other in 2005 when prices were ridiculous.
