What do I need for this TV?

This isn't really a shopping question because I've already bought it... lol...

I purchased this tv at Best Buy yesterday (online - can't go pick it up for a few more days). I think it will fit the need we have (I say 'need' loosely!) very well. Yes, there are higher resolution sets out there, and yes, there are advantages to LCD over plasma... but this'll work, the reviews are awesome, and I'm going to sell the games and the XBox on eBay, I used my Discover card for 5% cash back, I got $10 in Reward Zone money, and in the end the net is going to be around $350ish for this set, which is a steal, IMHO!

Anyway... I am clueless about CABLES. I am clueless about hooking the computer up to it! What do I need if I want to be able to watch in HD? Will it just automatically come in in HD without any special cables if our service is HD?

I feel soooo lost with this stuff, and would prefer to buy online now rather than *in* the store at Best Buy when I pick up the tv and pay retail prices.

You'll need HDMI cables to hook it to your satellite, cable box, blue ray, ect. for the best pic I believe. You can still use R-B-G comp. or standard A / V cables on most boxes. (R-B-G will give you a better pic over the A / V)

I'm not sure about hooking it to a computer.

I would have to say stop a random 12 yr old on the street and they could tell you what to do. LOL I don't have a fancy new set so when the time comes I'll have to read the instructions (if the come in English) and do some online research if I don't understand. If I still don't get it then I'll ask my son by phone and if I still need help I'll ask the high school young man that lives next door.
