Someone that I scrapbook has one. I have never asked her to use it because I am shy. She uses it mostly for titles but I am sure you could do other things with it. I don't know all of it's capabilities because she has only the cartridge that it came with. I have never researched it because of the price but it's pretty cool from what I have seen. She has mentioned purchasing the sticky mats and blades for cutting. I know that if you are doing titles with a skinny font you may want to purchase the xyron sticker maker. This is a device that you put all the letters, characters, etc. in the little hand cranked machine to make them sticky. This way you are able to make them stick without having to use glue. you will also have to purchase refills for this machine. I have a quickutz machine that is a different tool that makes letters. It is about 1/2 the price but more work, but it is also portable and doesn't use a plug. I really like the quickutz, but it is more work. The best place to purchase quickutz alphabets and shapes is ebay. I have gotten alphabets for $10.00 I use the scotch glue stick that is made for not wrinkling the paper. This works well for scrapbooking and is very inexpensive compared to some of the other adhesives out there. My friend and I still use the regular too, but I use it for my letters when I make titles.

I have had a Cricut for quite some time. I find it quite useful, especially for titles. I also use it for some embellishments. It saves me quite a bit of money since I don't have to buy letters for titles and stickers and other items for embellishments. I also like that you can cut it in whatever size you need, whether it be a 1" tall title for a 6X6 page, a border that runs across the page, a mat to fit your photo, or various sizes of designs for the page. I also have a cartridge that makes paper dolls, which will be great for my DD to play with later. I guess it really depends on what kind of scrapbooker you are how much use you will get out of it. |

I'm not into scrapbooking but I want to play with a Cricut so bad! I saw it on one of those infomercials and it looked so cool I watched the entire infomercial. It just looks so cool and fun.

| This is too funny! I woke up at 6:00am today and turned on the tv to check out the blizzard/weather news and the channel it was on when I turned it off last night had the Cricut infomercial on! I couldn't believe it! So I watched it and it is pretty cool. How is that for timing???? Pretty weird. Maybe that means I'm supposed to keep it! Then I went back to sleep!
