We have done several things over the years to display our Christmas cards. This year, I thought with the economy the way it is we wouldn't get as many as we have in years past.....so, we could just display them on tables throughout the house. Well, here we are only the 12th of December, and we have run out of room. I have started putting cards on the outside of the mirrors in the bathrooms. That way we are reminded daily (several times a day, even...LOL) of how blessed we are to have so many wonderful friends and acquaintances who think of us. I think our next spot will be the refrigerator door. Where do you display your holiday greetings???

I put them up on the wall. With the house we are in now it is a wall in the dining room that works. It looks funny when the month starts off and there is just one lone card on the wall. I keep all my cards and put them in my Christmas storage containers. I do enjoy looking at them the next year and seeing how people have grown and am sad to see those that are longer here with us.

In past years I've used one of those cardboard things with slots to put them in. They always fell out and you couldn't see the pictures very good. This afternoon I taped them to the wall in my dining room. Already the kids have been looking at and reading them. Why didn't I think of this earlier. This was before I read this thread! After Christmas I take the cards and make tags for next years gifts. I recycle what I can't use.

For whatever reason, I've kept mine from year to year. Then, last year as I was getting out Christmas decorations, I decided to go through the pile. I found 20 years of Christmas cards I'd saved, and discovered I had ones sent to me by my mom. What an incredible treasure to find her handwriting on something I'd forgotten about! It was almost like getting a message from her all over again. I know that's corny...but it made me so happy!
