I need a Christmas tie for a gag gift for a guy in our unit, its a gag gift so I need it to be bright, Christmasy and just awful looking. A woman in our unit said she had seen some somewhere that light up and/or play music. Does anyone know where we might be able to find them? I have tried Marshalls, TJ Maxx, wal-mart and the dollar tree with no luck, they had Christmas ties but they were nice ones.
I only have from now till Tuesday to find this because we are doing our unit party on Wed. TIA

I got a cute Charlie Brown light up/musical one at JC Penney a few years ago. They also had some tacky ones there.

I second Walgreens...I found my college age son two of them on clearance in there last year...They were "tacky" to the max! ~Lisa

Maybe Dollar Tree or another dollar store? I'm not sure about Christmas ties, but dh got a halloween one there that lit up AND made noise. It was black and covered with spiders. Since it's meant to be a gag gift, the price would be perfect.

Or you could go to a thrift store get a plain one and use it for a pattern. They have all kinds of tacky fabric at JoAnn's and probably other stores in your area.

Kohls may have some tacky ones.

Macy's has them and I know that Kroger used to sell them (if you have that grocery store in your area). I am sure that Kohls would have them as well.
