They are calling for up to 2 feet of snow in Maryland! Christmas shopping's not done.Stores were overloaded today and people were super stressed, I guess I will be indoors for a while.

I've been watching Today this morning and they keep talking about the weather. I hope all of you that are in the path of the storm stay warm, dry and safe! Don't worry about Christmas shopping your family would rather have you safe and sound.
I hope you have all your groceries though it would make for a sucky Christmas if you had no food.

In 6 hours we have had 7 " of snow here in West Virginia! And it is still snowing hard. They say it will stop early tomorrow

We were supposed to get at least an inch of snow. We've only had some rain and now that has stopped. My daughter was supposed to get 3-5 inches and so far has only had about a quarter of an inch. It's still early in the day tho!

"i got out of dodge just in time". i left town (n va) on wed for tx to spent christmas with my daughter and 4 grandchildren. i have talked with my son and a friend and they already have 16" of snow on the ground. google is predicting 21 inches for where i live. if is now supposed to stop early sun morning instead of snowing all day sun. the storm seems to be moving through faster than originally predicted. weather channel last night was predicting 15- 24 inches for dc. i live in the middle of the path of the heaviest snow.

16 or 17 inches in Silver Sping, Maryland and still snowing.

I finished and mailed all my gifts last week.

I hope it is cleaned up by the 30th because I am going to Texas.

The most snow in Dec. in the DC area ever.

Airports closed, Smithsonian Museums closed. Nothing is open today and many things are closed on Sunday. They are closing schools for Monday and Tuesday already.

We have about 18 inches here in Virginia. The roads are still terrible. Malls opened for about 5 hours today. DH ventured out and said only about 1/3 of the stores were open. Cars are all over the highways abandoned. Motorists have been stranded on interstates since yesterday afternoon. All church services cancelled everywhere for tomorrow.

Really bad here.

We just got a light dusting of snow which equals snowy mud. Tyler insisted on making snow angels...what a mess.

In western Ma, we were predicted to get 6 to 10 ". Snow was supposed to start around 5pm yesterday. I went to bed around 11 and still no snow. Woke up to just under three inches. I am happy they were wrong. Ironically, it was just enough snow to cancel my kid's ski practice today. The school bus they were supposed to take said it was a no-go. They are very disappointed.

Today our stick measured 25"!!! I have never seen this much snow in my life!!! I love it!
