How incredibly sad! I really liked her in several movies. She was on The Bonnie Hunt Show within the last few months and just a real sweetheart through the interview

It is very sad. She always seemed like a nice person. I am sorry for her family.

Wow, I just watched her the other day in that movie "Megafault".Great movie,she was a good actor.I also liked her recent movies "Across the Hall" and "Deadline".She played in some awesome horror movies.So sad what happened.
I'm willing to bet if it was drugs that it was diet pills as she so very thin.

Where are you guys reading these details about diabetes and drugs? All I have read and heard has said "natural causes". I was aware that she used to be a party girl but I don't know that much about her.

Just going the info of her age and that she died in the shower, if I were a betting person (well I am, but I don't bet on deaths) My first bet would be ruptured aneurysm. Maybe linked to regular stimulant use, maybe just a fluke.

Rumors about eating disorders and diabetes change the odds a bit. Really there's a ton of things it could be and we won't know until the autopsy comes in.

No matter what she died of, it's sad.

My uncle had juvenile diabetes and fell over dead (in the bathroom ironically) of a heart attack at age 35. Granted, it was 35 years ago and medicine & treatment has changed in those years, but it's not out of the possibilities. Diabetes damages your arteries.

I hadn't read anything yet today and just saw this.

TMZ reports that the actress had experienced flu-like symptoms in the days leading to her death, and that Murphy was seriously ill a few hours before she collapsed. Sources told the website that Murphy began vomiting early Sunday morning. The sources also claimed that authorities found no illegal drugs in Murphy's home, but it is apparent that the actress was taking some prescription medications. After the 911 call, Murphy's mother Sharon told paramedics her daughter was diabetic.
