Proud of our daughter...
Our oldest daughter graduated on Saturday with a degree in Surgical Technology. We are so proud of her. She was top in her class with a GPA of 3.949. She already has a job in the main or at a local hospital. It wasn't always easy for her with a husband who ships out two months at a time, and also working while attending college. We feel so blessed....

How exciting! I would be proud just to have my kids finish college, much less at the top of their class...in Surgical Technology! I don't blame you for being so proud! Congrats!

No, her dh graduated from the regimental unit of Maine Maritime Academy and is employed as a Marine Engineer for an oil shipping company. He works two months on/two off. He is currently considering joining the air national guard. I believe that because of the Maritime Academy he attended, it is somehow involved with the military (not exactly sure how it works?).
