My special needs cat, the Little Kitten, who was blind and had a heart murmur, passed away this morning from a massive stroke. He was 10 years old.

I got up this morning at 6:30 to find him unresponsive on the diningroom floor. We brought him to the Vet and she confirmed that it indeed was a stroke.

I'm in shock. There really were no signs this was going to happen. I keep thinking this is a horrible nightmare and I'll wake up.

Maybe now he's in a place where he can see and the other cats that have gone on before him are showing him around.

We loved our Little Kitten.

I'm so sorry Virgo. He looks an awful lot like our Himalayan cat who we lost to congenital heart disorder at about 10 years old as well.

I am soo sorry! We lost our cat 3 days before Christmas. He had ben sick since about July, that we knew anyway, with kidney disease. He took a sudden turn and died overnight. It was very hard to watch happen! we Have a dog, but he was our only cat. We went and adopted 2 kitties over Christmas from animal control and they have been wonderful but you still think alot about the cat you lost!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. What a doll. We lost our two (one 5 years ago and the other 6 years ago) and it's still hard. We finally got another one from my manager and his girlfriend.
