I turned on the news this morning to see the weather report and saw this. My BIL worked at ABB until a few months ago when they moved to Virginia. I contacted them to find out if they had any info, unfortunately they hadn't heard and I had to break the news. Turns out he knew the shooter (now dead) and was friends with some of the victims.

One of my son's boy scout advisors is a supervisor there and we've been worried all day about him. How did you find out the victims? I've been checking all the local news sites and haven't been able to find out if he's ok.

Most likely they are not going to name all the victims yet, but the news reports say that 4 are dead and one of the 4 is the shooter and that 8 people were shot.

How horrible. These workplace shootings are happening much too often

Seems to be an upswing in shootings lately...very sad and such a waste.

I just got off the phone my, BIL's old office was shot up. The guy who took over his position was shot in the leg, but thankfully he dove under the desk and survived.

BIL is really upset, they're coming back to St. Louis in the morning to be with friends.
