What a rip roaring year I have had so far. Plumbing main blocked, brakes went out on car, got a flat tire on parked car ( parked because it had no brakes) and the hot water heater stopped heating the water.
Enough already I know it can only get better from here.

Mine didn't start off so well, either. I'm not overly optomistic about the rest of the year, either. I just keep singing that song "sounds like life to me....." LOL.

Maybe once Spring arrives things will look up for us all!!

Sorry all those things happened at once. Doesn't seem fair. But don't ever say, it can't get worse because it likely can. Keep your chin up!

Yuck!!! Here I am feeling sorry for myself cause it is cold. '09 ended like that for me. The first two weeks of November I had to have a new roof, a new hotwater heater, a new shower head, a new toilet and a new back door knob. The insurance wouldn't cover the roof, so all this came out of the checking account. Yes, I was glad that the money was there and that it didn't really impact buying for Christmas, but it sure didn't help me get in the mood for it either. Now I am sitting here putting off buying anything until the SS check comes in, cause I can't stand more going out and nothing coming in. Hopefully this week I can get my truck fixed, it wouldn't start before Christmas and the weather has been so bad I woudln't ask someone to check it out till we got above freezing. Hopefully, we have used up all the bad luck and no one else wlll have a round of it for a while.
