OH MY GOSH!!!! I have loved him for years and years and I just found out he is doing 6 conferences this year. One is in St. Louis and I'm a little over 4 hrs from there so I just ordered my tickets! I don't know who is going with me yet but God will take care of that. This is also interesting......At work today (and this is a job I only work about 5 hours a week) I was talking to a non churching going Christian (at least I think he is) and Father Corapi came up in the conversation. On the way home from work I was thinking to myself "who would I most like to meet in the whole world if I could pick anyone" and I answered to myself "Father Corapi". And it's true. I already met the other two people I would choose (Ted Neeley and the late Carl Anderson from the film "Jesus Christ Superstar"). After I ordered the tickets I was reading more about it he's actually having a meet and greet the day before! I about fell off my chair. I sooo hope I get to actually meet him. I'm so excited I can barely stand it!!!! I guess I'll have to though because it's in May! lol The timing on all of this is incredible.

never heard of him, sorry..he must be amazing, though.

He is incredible. He is on EWTN Saturday night at 10:00, I think also Sunday at 8 or 9. He has an amazing conversion story. He was a stock broker (I think) and lived in California. Friends we movie stars, sports stars, etc. and a millionaire. (he actually was at the party with John Belushi the night before he overdosed). He got hooked on cocaine and hit rock bottom and was homeless. He lost all his friends, ended up in rehab and then moved back home to NY with his mother. He then became a Priest and a very powerful speaker. His talks on EWTN are usually on the Catechism and you never tire listening to him.
