If the envelope is addressed to Mr. & Mrs. Johnson and Family, that means your children are invited as well. So, on the reply card, you would put Mr. & Mrs. Johnson and Family. Then put the # of people attending. If the front envelope does not say Mr. & Mrs. Johnson and Family, to me, that means no children are invited.

yes, the replies and number of people noted on the addressed envelope are correct. They are really asking who (for place cards) is coming and how many (do they have to pay for). Our wedding was 6-6-08 and boy it was a lot of stuff I had to study up on!!
