When you cheat on your wife and when you get together with a married man (she's done this more than once) it's only a matter of time. I am sorry for the kids of course.

Oh great! I am assuming this has just happened, as I didn't hear it on the news tonight. All this means is there won't be any news for the next couple days unless something really bad happens, while the networks belabor this to death.

Unhappy

It was just a matter of time, for me personally before all this I truly loved Brad Pitt I think he is extremely good looking and I also loved loved Jennider Aniston and when they got married I was so happy and seriously thought this was going to be a great wonderful happy hollywood marriage. However when they did break up because of Angelina Jolie , Jennifers heart must have been broken then more words could ever say. However after some time she picked herself up and moved on. With Brad Pitt , Angelina is a totally different type of women, first being married to Bill Bob Thortnon sp. Also with all the children they adopted and conceived naturally in the last photos it seemed to me, he Brad was not happy. In the end I had a strong feeling this would happen and it did. As others said I feel for their children . Peace. Catherine

Not saying this in a bad way but does anyone think Angelina might not be playing with a full deck? She's done some good things, is a good actress, etc... but some of her life decisions seem pretty bizzare-especially the Billy Bob marriange. I just hope those children turn out emotionally healthy . As far as Brad Pitt goes he never, ever did it for me! lol Neither does Tom Cruise, Clint Eastwood, Tom Selleck or any of the "hotties". Give me a Bruce Willis (a few years ago...back in the Die Hard days) or a Damon Wayans.

Kts did you ever see the movie Legends of the Fall with Brad Pitt he was so beautiful with his long hair and his name was Tristian loved him in that movie. On the others I agree do not like Tom Cruise Mel Gibson and a few others the ones who float my boat lol of course top and first choice always is my favorite of all times the one and only Gary Oldman anytime anywhere. In a weird way Harvey Keitel and always Christopher Walken especially when he was young like the deer hunter. I also like Michael Douglas, Paul Newman, Clint Eastwood, and Robert Redford, I like older more mature men , who are confident and to me real honest men.Sorry ladies to go off topic just could not help myself lol. Peace. Catherine

She isn't playing with a full deck. Angelina has made no secret of the fact that she spent time in a mental institution and her mental health has caused problems in the past. As a matter of fact, it's part of the reason she's estranged from her father. Her father publicly questioned Angelina's mental health and she deeply resented it. Not that having her sanity in question was a new experience for her, but she was trying to adopt at the time (when is she not? LOL) and she was scared that her father's comments might cause them to not allow her to adopt. She needn't have worried. She bought her children and paid so much for them that they wouldn't have turned her down if she were a convicted pedophile.

I don't really think that Brad is much of an actor, but, he is pretty. You should rent Troy. You'll like the opening scene.

"When you cheat on your wife and when you get together with a married man (she's done this more than once) it's only a matter of time." Thats not necessarily true... Many of these marriages survive.. I doubt that was the reason for the split...

It is amazing what money can buy...human life and a reputation. When she was appointed to some UN humanitarian position I almost gagged. She, who bragged that she and Billy Bob wore vials of blood around their necks and who gave her brother a French kiss on the Red Carpet, always struck me as not quite right....but is now regarded as the new Mother Theresa. SAD.

Red face

Yes Kvmj I did see Brad Pitt in the movie Troy again personally speaking to me is more then beautiful painfully a pretty boy for sure . I used to feel that way about Rob Lowe also I think they are both extremely handsome men and so was the late Heath Ledger and omg so sorry in the list I mentioned before how in the world could I ever forget my other favorite all time actor and so handsome as well Aiden Quinn I love his looks his accent and that is 100 percent Irish love anything about the Irish men lol. Sorry to get away here, but this is how I feel about Brad and Angelina perhaps him and Jen were having problems, then him and Jolie worked long hours a day for months together an a attraction happened and the rest is history. I believe Angelina Jolie is very extreme person who is involved in many issues that face our nations all around the world. I do not think perhaps Brad Pitt knew what he was entering into.Hence all the children, all the traveling to other countries to help and I also think it was not what he thought it would be , but perhaps I am wrong. I do tend to agree once a cheater always a cheater perhaps in this story maybe not only time will tell. But the most important issue is the 6 children first and foremost.Peace. Catherine

If you have money you can do anything. It seems to me that by collecting more and more children she is filling some vacant emotional hole she has and I wonder how the children are faring emotionally. You don't see or hear too much about them: how they do in school, etc. I wonder how close they are to their parents and how this is affecting them. I can't remember their ages but if they spend much time in the US they must see and hear the news about what is going on or purportedly going on with their Mom and Dad.

I can't help but wonder if Jen is getting some quiet satisfaction out of this whole mess.

My thought from the first adoption. MONEY. Additionally, her status as ambassador or whatever.....MONEY. MONEY.

I don't think she acts well either. I saw her several years ago as Laura Croft in Tombraider or something like that, I don't know the correct names and could care less. All she could so was push her butt out on one side, and her lips on the other side....ugly.
MONEY.

I always thought she was overrated. I see much more beautiful women walking down the street every day and there are much better actresses that get no acclaim at all.

I remember my EX husband thought she was hideous and now so does my husband. I guess looks are very subjective...I'm woman so I don't know if it counts but I never understood why people thought she was so beautiful. I have sisters and nieces that are much prettier!

I think a lot of people see what they are told they see. I have never thought either she or her hubby were attractive at all. Her particularly. He is just so so, but definitely not all he's been cracked up to be.

I think she has a kind of "exotic" look to her that some men find intriguing. Now all I think of when I see her is Octomom, who I've heard wants to look like her.

Just curious...is there a source?

I just read something posted "seconds" ago that it's untrue. Comcast's entertainment division:

Brangelina Break-Up? Baloney, Says Source | Comcast.net

It seems like every few months or so, something pops up that they're breaking up. Only takes one time to BE true, but it hasn't been yet - so far.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. I know that often stories that are printed are denounced then later turn out to be true, especially Natl Enquirer stories.

I was looking through the thread for the source, the OP didn't post a link, or mention where she read/heard it.

LOL!! If it WAS the National Stinkerer, was that worth posting?

The same story about these two breaking up has been on some tabloid or another many times and hasn't been true before, so I don't think it means anything..

While I typically agree with that - it was the National Enq that broke the John Edwards story that turned out to be true! LOL! (Not that I give a rats behind if they break up or not, I think ALL celebrities are over rated!)

With celebratries we all will never know for sure how much is truth or fake. Only time will tell and for anyone who lives in New York and reads or get the New York Post it truly has become a trash paper so much like the National Inquirer so its a wait and see game. But in the end it truly does not effect us and even with all the fame and fortune I have always said it comes down to the basics they are human just like the rest of us and will experience the same problems as all of us married or not couples do. Peace. Catherine

I agree 100 percent with you Dannic in the scheme of things of importance is life their personal lives do not effect us at all, that is why I wrote in my post they are just like us human and they make mistakes and have problems just like all the rest of us couples, but because they are public we have to read about it and hear it over and over. Peace. Catherine

I could be an "anyone!"

I don't know if I'd call it "caring", as much as a passing thought, you know, something to talk about. A person can have a LOT of other things in their lives, but still have a moment or two once in a while to talk about something nonsensical. Nothing wrong with that at all as long as people don't obsess and get distracted from their own lives - and I wouldn't doubt a bit, if it's perfectly healthy.

You are right. There seems to be an epidemic of people pretending to be above our petty gossip...yet they are reading and then posting that they are superior to such silliness

REALLY?
I don't think any of us "care" per se....but they are in the public eye thus, subject to being a topic of discussion. I mean, good grief! The girls I work with we have discussed everything from the state of healthcare, to politics in general, to whether we are "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob", to stupid things the men in our lives have done. It's just talk!

Needless to say--I have other things going on in my life, sometimes I need a break from my life!

Yes we have other things in our lives. It's human nature to be interested in what other people are doing and as I tell my DH who doesn't understand the interest either, it's interesting for us "common folks" to see their outlandish behavior and to see that all that money and fame doesn't shield people from the same problems we have. As a matter of fact they engage in way more shenanigans than common folks as their riches allow them to make flighty decisions.

It's kind of like driving by an accident and craning your neck to look.

Interest in what rich and famous people do is as old as humans.
