| Opening ceremony for Olympics
was AWESOME!!! I really enjoyed it, especially that flying guy part. I love Indians, snow, cold, mountains etc so I just loved all of it! So sad about the luge athlete though. They did a nice job of remembering him. Let the games begin!

I enjoyed it too. Near the end, when they were lighting the torch, I wish the commentators did not go on and on about some sort of malfunction. Seriously, we probably would not of even known that one of the pillars did not go up as planned.

I'm glad you all loved it, I wished it had been better though. The summer olympics opening ceremony was much better in my opinion.

I hate to put a damper on this thread, but I have started watching a number of Olympic Opening Ceremonies. I never enjoy them as I keep comparing them to the 1984 Summer Opening Ceremonies which Peter Ueberroth did. I don't think anything will ever compare. |
