I have had the Sketchers Shape Ups for 2 months and I have not had any problems. In fact, I have two pairs, one for work and a tennis shoe type. I had torn cartilage repaired on Dec. 2 and started wearing them after the surgery. I have flat feet and verioces veins(sp). I do not have to wear my lifts and my legs do not hurt with the Shape Ups. I am a teacher so I am on my feet all the time.

Thanks for your input. I wonder if they just wear out faster for people who are actually walking distances every day. My sister is a hairdresser who wears the Mary Jane style of Skecher Shape Ups. She said they are comfortable however she doesn't use them for walking per se. If I knew they would guarantee them for a certain amount of months or miles I would be more likely to consider them. I haven't ordered yet so I'll have to get some more input and think about it for a while.

I have the Reebok Easy Tones. I haven't worn them too much yet, but I like them. They feel kinda funny when you first put them on, but then I forget that they're different and they feel just like regular tennis shoes. Lisa
