Yep....I'm dating again, and I like it!

I've gone out w/ a man much older than me (53)---didn't have any attraction, but he's a nice man (there won't be a repeat date though).

I've gone out w/ a man of a different race than me (remember I was raised in the South, and dating a black man was taboo when I was younger) and really like him--but he lives over 4 hours away. So we're just friends right now.

Had a few other dates--and I really am enjoying myself just having some fun.

I actually have had a few dates with one man, and he's even met the boys. So, who knows. I can't even remember when I have been this happy with my life and the choice I made!

Be careful out there! I did the dating scene for about 5 years after my divorce and it's nasty out there! Lots of men are not who they appear to be. You may have better antenna than I do in picking men. I got to the point where I would have them hang out with me and my best friends so they could give me their opinions-some of them even passed their radar........Not worth the hassle, I enjoy being by myself. But good luck to you!

Its wonderful to hear you sound so happy and positive, good for you!!! I agree with Kathy, keep that dating radar going. I can't imagine dating again (been married for almost 28 years). I would be so nervous!

Took me a year after my break up to even think about having another man around LOL Seems to me the men these days are.. well.. expecting too much too soon!
First man to come on to me was the cable man installing my cable! Scared me to death. Then another man who I just met kept telling me how sexual he was etc.. barf!

Thats great,, good for you, like another poster said just be careful. Have fun and hopefully soon you will meet Mr. Right. I would be very nervous myself to try and date these days so I admire the fact that you can.

Good for you! My mother is dating a much older man - she is 69 and he is 84. But they are so happy together. There is nothing wrong with older or younger men - I robbed the cradle and have been happily married for 22 years to my younger man.
