I'm a first time grandma!
I'm so excited! Baby Ellie was born at 5:34 this morning and is 6 pounds, 5 1/2 ounces, 20 inches long. Mother and baby are doing well, and I can't wait to fly to Iowa! I'm so thrilled I can't stand it!

Thanks, guys! I'm hoping to fly out of here on 3/22 and back on 3/29. I just can't get away until then. I need to make sure it's okay with my daughter in law for me to stay for a week before I buy a ticket. She's a wonderful girl and I love her, but I want to make sure I don't overstay a welcome, KWIM? I am absolutely over the moon with joy!
